GENERAL INFORMATION

Timelines

I will respond to you through email within 72 hours of receiving your order form accepting or declining the order and giving you a price range. After this you will have another 72 hours to reply to confirm the order and payment — if you do not respond in time, I will consider the order cancelled.

When we agree on all the details and the price I will send you an invoice on PaypaI. The payment must be made fully upfront within 14 days or I will consider the order cancelled.

When the order is done, you will receive a high res file of your commission as a Google Drive link. The file will be available for download for 30 days after the email with the link has been sent. After that it will be deleted and I will no longer be responsible for keeping and providing a high res file of your commission.

I will not be providing any physical goods for your order. Everything will be strictly digital.

Updates

Updates about the commission progress are sent every 7-14 days, if not sooner, as low res files.

The opportunity to give feedback or request changes will be provided if the artwork reached a new milestone (sketch, lines, flat colors/first color pass). Otherwise it will just keep you informed of the progress and you won't be required to proide feedback but can do so if you'd like.

After every update that informs you of the artwork reaching a new milestone work on the commission will be paused until approval or edit requests have been sent in.

Drawing over any material I send to better show what you would like changed is welcome!

Due Dates

Approximate time to complete an order is 4 - 7 weeks but depends on the promptness of your responses and the scale of the order.

If a very close deadline is assigned — within 14 days of placing an order, an additional rush fee of 150% of the total price will be charged.

In case you request a deadline for your order and fail to respond to any milestone progress update or inquiry from me within 48 hours any potential breach of deadline from my side is considered void.

In case the art has to be kept private for longer than 6 months an additional fee of 300% of the total price will be charged.

PRICING & PAYMENT

Payment

The prices on the pricelist are all starting prices, in USD. Depending on the complexity, details, and the amount of characters the price can increase. An exact price quote can only be made after all the order information has been handed in.

Payments are made via PaypaI invoices and fully upfront. They must be made, in full, within 14 days of sending an invoice, otherwise the order will be considered as cancelled.

Revisions

The following small revisions are possible at corresponding art stages for free, but only 3 are free:

For sketch revisions or additional small revisions: 20% of the total payment each
Revisions of up to 50% of the artwork at any stage excluding sketches: 60% of the total payment
Revisions of more than 50% of the artwork at any stage excluding sketches: 100% of the total payment

Refunds

If you or I choose to cancel an order the amount refunded will depend on the stage the artwork is in. Loosely the refund will be:

I reserve the right to terminate an order for any reason, with refund made as stated above. I will never terminate an order that is at the very last stage of the process.

LEGAL

Rightful use of commissioned art

You can freely use the image online however you wish as long as it's for personal use and isn't for advertising, commercial sale or licensing, and credits me as the artist — ‘Art by @Lynaiss’ is preferred when providing credit. You may not under any circumstances use commissioned artwork in ML/AI image generators, blockchain-related technologies, NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space, or for merch, prints, publications or other sales and profit.

I retain full and exclusive rights to the commissioned artwork, and can modify, license, sell and/or publish the artwork and work leading up to the final at my discretion for any reason. In case I wish to sell and license the artwork, I will notify you.

Limitation of Liability

I am not liable to any incidental or consequential damages that arise from my performance on the order, including, but not limited to, failure to perform in a timely manner, regardless of whether the failure was intentional or negligent.
